You are never exactly who you think you truly are cause there is always an exaggeration somewhere in our thinking towards the perfect us than the reality check. In this sense we also cannot differentiate the tares from the wheat as we can still not understand the nature of the future by looking at a Lamb and a Kid.
Every Person who sees these two(a Kid and a Lamb) would want to even have them as pets cause they always are very very innocent of everything in these infant stage and they can only be separated into category as they grow in time. Well thus is the confused noise around us brethren, as we continually try to make ends meet, there is the state of confusion where even the most beautiful things can appear ugly and insignificant while the best in our lives could appear as the most irrelevant.
What is the most important thing that matters to you right now? Is it your study and exams? Worried you might not meet the right score to elevate you to the next level in life? Or is it the way your boss is treating you at the office? Having you work mechanically beyond your control? Is it in you relationships, your spouse is getting a divorce? Is it the custody of your kids falling in the hands of your drunken husband? Are we talking of the mortgage and credit card company?
What you must understand at this moment is that life is not a journey int hell and as a Man of God reminded us in Church most recently, that the life we have in the world is simply meritocracy where everything depends on how much effort you can inject and not by grace as the word of God indicates. So my dearest ones which is it that makes you feel better, working your life away cause of the same reason that still ends up in death or working your salvation into life and abundance not just in heaven but manifesting here on earth and in your every area of life.
Many of us are like the Kid(goat), we get all the knowledge of truth into us but as we grow in the ways of the Lord, we fall back to the ways we used to know and in no time become stubborn and silly towards the change that could have enveloped us into a whole new experience. No its no fear that makes the Kid looses its transformation, it is simply persistent stubbornness to remain the way they are. They refused to be tamed refused to be calm and always in one ,mischief or the other.
On the other hand is the sheep, under a guidance, a sheep excels at all it does, it can even be coordinated to understand the shepherds voice and command like your dog can respond to its owner. They are easier to manage and lead cause they are programmed that way. Many humans are naturally sheep but in that sense they have allowed the world to twist their understanding and personality cause in the jungle, sheep are trampled upon and left to die on their own cause they cannot survive the wild.
We are Humans and not wild things, living in a wild one of meritocracy you either attain the heights or dye trying. What sort of life can that bring upon you, good or bad. Do you achieve with happiness in this environment or are you placed under stress and duress at times simply to ensure that you make ends meet?
I do not know in which caliber you seem to belong but what i know is that it is never too late to change for the best. Being a sheep is not enough to win you the grace and confidence of salvation, you must be willing to learn from authorities as you must respect and give in accordance to how you would be receiving in due time. So if you confess Christ Jesus as the savior who was crucified for our existence, you have transformed a whole new person inside of you for a whole better person beyond reasons and far from facts but by the spirit which is unique and subtle.
If the words fall on deaf ears, then you simply are the Kid, what i must urge you to do is simple, do not get yourself worked out to be like anyone you know who could have been a sheep. Focus on the word and read and listen constantly as often as you can to ensure that all that you seek and desire would come to pass.
Every human can be any of these but what matters most is what you grow into and stay as. Even if you grow into a sheep, you need the words of the Lord to straighten your ways with God and make your path straight, otherwise, you were heading for destruction but Christ is always available for all and sundry in this grace zone. Seek his ways, words, thoughts, life, truth and i can assure you in fullness that all that you used to know would be an avalanche of your past and a flood of victory would overwhelm you as you tread in the new path laid ahead of you...
