There in a manger, an innocent child was born, in a world where power meant so much and authority rules over common sense. Mary, an young virgin transitioned from innocence to motherhood but yet giving the grace to overcome it all, by the Creator of all things- our Abba father.
In the times past, God had chosen to use prophets, humans to remind us of his special love by maintaining a link with such chosen ones and ensuring that via many ways, he could stay in consistent communication to never allow that break in communication needed for our spirit nature to be alive in him at all times.
Just as the body seeks to be filled with the things of this world, the soul needs the same but its desires are not met of this world but of the source of its existence which is where God resides. The need for consistent relationship with God was emphasized alot in the old testament where he constantly chooses imperfect people and made them perfect to be His link to his people.
“Here’s another story. Listen closely. There was once a man, a wealthy farmer, who planted a vineyard. He fenced it, dug a winepress, put up a watchtower, then turned it over to the farmhands and went off on a trip. When it was time to harvest the grapes, he sent his servants back to collect his profits.“The farmhands grabbed the first servant and beat him up. The next one they murdered. They threw stones at the third but he got away. The owner tried again, sending more servants. They got the same treatment. The owner was at the end of his rope. He decided to send his son. ‘Surely,’ he thought, ‘they will respect my son.’“But when the farmhands saw the son arrive, they rubbed their hands in greed. ‘This is the heir! Let’s kill him and have it all for ourselves.’ They grabbed him, threw him out, and killed him.“Now, when the owner of the vineyard arrives home from his trip, what do you think he will do to the farmhands?” (Matthew 21:33-40, MSG)
Today we drink and wine through Christmas in joy but i believe that a good number of us do not have a clue what this season was actually meant to bring to our remembrance. Well as one chosen to remind you this day, Christmas is not a holiday for bouncing and fooling around but one in which we are reminded of that fact that a divine being chose to get to know us better by sharing a human flesh with us and going through the worst of our conditions and yet unbroken by this world, he surpassed all challenges and finally did die in the perfection that allows us a fixed connection to him in that purified blood shed forever...
I loved my grand mom so much so even now that she is with the Lord but i care less when she was born than i cared the fact that she was there at all. The truth was very clear that she was born, it might be in August, November or maybe January but it had nothing to derail the right relationship i was suppose to enjoy with her.
To you oh doubting Thomas, the excuse of when Christ was born had nothing to do with the faith you are meant to have in Christ Jesus. His birth date could be lost, changed, misunderstood but his nature has nothing to do with his birth. He rose above all that and stood even a long distance away from those he had actually believed to be his own chosen people. Have you come to wonder why you and i celebrate Christmas yet the bible story never mentioned our existence in the earlier books of the old testament?
Christ had to be born to bring an awareness of the truth that we can all come boldly to his throne, without a ritual involved, a priest as an intercession or a temple with the right forms of carvings... No Christ was born to give us life - Gentiles and Jews alike, without blemishes, without stains, we have been perfected in his death and been brought to his knowledge in his life as well as the angels spun in dances in his birth.
So this season, remember that the first of the step into your salvation started in the memory of Christ's birth which made the heavens spun in joy, singing and rejoicing beyond what has ever happened in the whole of the earth in general. The greatest occurrence in the heavens and earth was the fact the Creator chose to live among-st the created in their human suit, experience their existence, walk in their restrictions and live in their commonality.
So you have no right today to bring your excuse that God will not understand what you are going through. You have no excuse to mention that he does not need to know either, cause he revealed all to you about his life here on earth, can you do likewise?
“Suppose you know a a game developer personally, and he had having created so many characters in his game and finally sees that many of the characters are misrepresenting their actions as supposed to what they were suppose to do? How much of a compassion can such game developer acquire to finally choose to become one of its character to actually experience or feel what it is like to be in the game and what they might be acting weird to the needed actions from the control box.
So you know that God is much more than a game developer and has no intention to control your daily existence but remind you that there is much more than what it looks like in the series of now. the love of God gave us the reason for this beautiful yuletide season, that is Christmas, a season where God became a Man to experience our nature, our responses, our flaws and our well being in that he could allow us a way out of the doom that the first mistake of man has placed us in the times past and allow us all to be chosen independent of rules or regulations to come boldly at his throne in whatever season we find ourselves... He is assuring you today that he is all ears, all mouth, all full in anyways you come to him...
But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.
